BioThis is an effort to get the first British Columbia Family Day to happen on February 15th, 2010 to coincide with the 2010 Olympics. Nearly every other province in Canada has the opportunity for a stat holiday the third Monday of February. What an incredible opportunity for our province to celebrate the family , and the province by having a family day in February. We could make this province rock , both for the 2010 Olympics and for generations to come.
We need a time to celebrate the family in the winter!
I have organized a facebook group titled "British Columbia wants a family day", please take the time to join and help organize our first ever family day on February 15th, 2010. We have an election coming up in May and with enough pressure and encouragement, we may be able to make this happen.
